A town steeped in history: Founded in 1852, Collingwood has a rich heritage, evident in its charming downtown core and historic landmarks like the iconic Collingwood Terminals building which is currently undergoing plans to be revitalized and turned into a hotel.

Over 200 ships, including Great Lakes freighters, warships, and ferries, were built here.
